Shallow Waters has three intertwining stories concerning three different women: Dawn’s story is disturbing and downbeat; Virginia’s story is optimistic, hopeful, and inspirational; Thea’s story is lighthearted, joyful, and fun. Their stories are anything but shallow.

WHY WE WANT TO MAKE THIS MOVIE

A major complaint many have against modern movies is that they lack a “cinematic” look. Everything’s bright and crystal clear. We want to bring back a cinematic look to cinema, such as with the films of Sergio Leone and Stanley Kubrick. Films with detailed close ups and a real look to the characters. We believe these characters are identifiable. Each character tells a different story with a different emotion attached. Strong women with their own important stories need to be told as well.
